The Nature-inspired Fabric Manipulation Project is a creative endeavour that aims to bring together the beauty of nature and the art of fabric manipulation. The use of different fabrics will create a range of textures and dimensions within each swatch, adding depth and interest to the designs.

This project was to create conversational print by taking impressions of unconventional elements from the surrounding environment. Black ink was used to capture the intricate details and textures of these unique objects in its randomness.

The design was inspired by sound waves, which are recreated through the use of lines in a very minimalistic manner. The colour scheme is yellow and blue, representing the morning sky as the sun rises.
